EdUCate! is excited to host our 14th Annual Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Standley Park on Governor Drive. There are games, food, beverages, music, booths and a beer & wine garden. Each year Oktoberfest attracts thousands of San Diego parents, educators, and community members to this fun-filled afternoon that raises money to improve the quality of education in University City public schools.

Donate $180 to EdUCate!’s Dollar-A-Day campaign ($1 per school day) and receive two VIP passes for unlimited beer, wine and soda pours. VIP passes can be picked up at the check in table.

NOTE: Receive ONE (1) FREE DRINK TICKET to the beer garden with your paid competition entry/s!

All proceeds from this competition are donated to EdUCate!

Oktoberfest Highlights

  • Beer & Wine Garden
    We feature a variety of San Diego brews and wines. The beer and wine are donated, so all proceeds from the Beer & Wine garden go directly to our schools.
  • Dollar-A-Day VIP
    Donate $180 to EdUCate!’s Dollar-A-Day campaign ($1 per school day) and receive two VIP passes for unlimited beer, wine and soda pours. VIP passes can be picked up at the check in table.
  • Games Area
    Jumpers, slides, and carnival games. Check out the Giant Wrecking Ball game and the “Beat the Light” interactive arena game.
  • Principal’s Challenge
    The principals from our 5 U.C. schools compete for the honor of their school. 
  • Food & Drink
    Visit our Food Vendors – A portion of the proceeds go to EdUCate!  There will be hot dogs, brats, gourmet nachos, kettle corn, and shaved ice.
  • ADA Accessible Bus along Governor Drive
    Free transportation along Governor Drive via ADA accessible bus.
