Use my donation where it is needed most! These funds are split three ways to meet the needs of our schools. Typically, a third goes to multi-school projects, a third to teachers in the form of grants and a third to principals for school-wide needs.
This is a simple and popular way to send thanks to a teacher, counselor, staff member or anyone at school who has made a difference in your child’s experience, and at the same time contribute funds for our schools.
Become a sustaining donor with PayPal, it’s easy! By making a recurring donation, you make a lasting commitment to our schools.
Many More Ways to Give
EdUCate! offers many ways to make a difference in a child’s education. For more information about any of these ways to give, please contact our Treasurer. We thank you for your support!
We are always looking for businesses committed to education to partner with us in supporting our schools whether by direct donations, sponsorships, or in-kind contributions. For more information, please contact Katie at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Stock & Securities
Donation of appreciated stock or securities is a win-win for you and EdUCate! By donating stock that has appreciated for more than a year, you are actually giving 20% more than if you sold the stock and then made a cash donation.
Many companies will match the charitable contributions of their current and retired employees, or their volunteer hours. Check with your personnel department.
Memorial & Scholarship Funds
Many community members have set up a memorial or family fund for college scholarships or other purposes to benefit U.C public school students.
A legacy gift to EdUCate! through your will, trust or other planned gift will ensure that EdUCate! can continue to support University City public schools in providing a quality education.
The EdUCate! Endowment Fund provides our schools with income each year. Contributions to the Endowment Fund are permanently invested. The income generated is transferred to the General Fund annually. Your gift will never be spent, but the income it generates will be, forever.
