What We Do
EdUCate! is a nonprofit foundation established in 1993 to provide supplemental funds for all five of the University City Public Schools:
- Curie Elementary
- Doyle Elementary
- Spreckels Elementary
- Standley Middle
- University City High

Our mission is to support the whole child, academically, socially, and emotionally.
Accomplishments
Since 1993, EdUCate! has distributed funds to the five University City public schools. The money has been raised primarily through donations and the many events EdUCate! offers.
How We Help
Funds that have not been restricted to a specific program or school are distributed in the following manner: we allocate 33% of available funds to teacher grants for classroom needs, 33% to the principals of the five UC schools for school-wide needs and 33% to multi-school programs like Jr Achievement BizTown (financial literacy) for all 5th graders and the EdUCate! Math Academy (free after-school homework help and tutoring).
